Anne Gaskins

Mrs. Anne Deen Gaskins, age 79 of Axson, Ga. passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at her home in Axson, Ga. following a brief illness.   A native of Ware County, Mrs. Gaskins was born August 07, l938, daughter of Daniel M. and Anne Elizabeth Spence Deen. She had made her home in Atkinson County for most of her life. She worked for many years as a secretary in the Clerk of Superior Court in Atkinson County and later as a secretary for Brenda Carver, Attorney at Law, in Pearson, Ga.. After retiring she enjoyed looking after her dogs and reading. She attended the Pearson Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Gaskins and husbands, Paul Lang, and Warren Gaskins.     Survivors include: Son:     Michael Lang of Pearson, Ga.   Sister: Dottie Hodges of Willacoochee, Ga.   2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.   Graveside memorial services for Mrs. Gaskins were held at Axson Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 2, 2017 with Rev. Hardy Crosby and Rev. Mark Mercer officiating. Special musical selections included “He Touched Me” rendered acapella by Rev. Hardy Crosby. The interment followed in the Axson Cemetery   Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
