J.C. Arnold

Mr. J.C. Arnold, age 76, of Nashville, Ga. passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 following an extended illness.   A native of Axson, Ga., Mr. Arnold was born December 1, l940, son of Cleo and Melba Corbitt Arnold. He lived in Clinch County for most of his life before moving to Nashville, Ga.. He worked as a supervisor with Nashville Mills and also worked at Chaparall Boats in Nashville, Ga.. He attended Lang Country Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Sue Arnold, and 3 brothers, Bobby Arnold, David Arnold, and Richard Arnold. Survivors include: Wife:               Margaret Arnold of Nashville, Ga.   2 Sons:             Joseph Carroll Arnold Jr. of Macon, Ga.                         Randy Carroll Arnold of Nashville, Ga. Step Son:         Johnny Clements of Nashville, Ga.   Step Daughter: Debbie Sutton of Nashville, Ga. 3 Brothers:      Cleo Arnold, Jr. of Homerville, Ga.                         Jack Arnold of Hagerstown, Md.                         Vernie Arnold of Nashville, Ga.   4 Sisters:         Pauline Thomas of Ocean Spring, Ms.                        Louise Fender of Grand Bay, Al.                        Kathy Westberry of Nashville, Ga.                        JoAnn McQueen of Nashville, Ga.   3 Grandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.   Graveside funeral services for Mr. Arnold were held at 2:00 P. M. Monday, November 13, 2017 at Arna Cemetery in Willacoochee, Ga. with Rev. J. A. Anderson officiating. Special musical selections included “Amazing Grace” and “Go Rest on That Mountain” presented by CD. The interment followed in Arna Cemetery.   Serving as active pallbearers were: Austin Clements, Andy Arnold, Stacy Arnold, Brad McQueen, Chad McQueen and Steven McQueen. Honorary pallbearers were: Michael Arnold, Casey Arnold and Richard Arnold.   Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
