Wanda Faye Corbitt Burnam

Mrs. Wanda Faye Corbitt Burnam, age 66 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.   Born February 4, l952, Mrs. Burnam was the daughter of Allen W. and Willie Mae Joyce Corbitt. She had made her home in Pearson and Douglas for most of her life and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Damon Rowland, infant son, Damon Wattis Rowland, Jr., her second husband, Larry Burnam and her brother Allen Corbitt, Jr.   Survivors include: Son: Lee Burnam and wife Amber of Milledgeville, Ga.   1 Granddaughter: Willow Duck   Several other relatives also survive.   Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Burnam were held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Arna Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. Special music was “Amazing Grace ” sung by all attending with Linda Davis leading. The interment followed in the Arna Cemetery.   Active pallbearers were: Clyde Purvis, Michael Davis, Dale Davis, Derrick Dillingham, Mike Summerlin and Chris Jewell.   Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
