Mrs. Debra Bennett age 60 of Axson, Ga. passed away Tuesday, May 08, 2018 at her home in Axson, Ga. following an extended illness. Born March 24, l958, in Rockledge, Fl., Mrs. Bennet was the daughter of Grover Lamar and Bertha Juanita Futch McRae. She had made her home in Stockton before moving to Newton where she had lived for the past 5 years before moving Axson to live with her daughter. She worked as a cashier for Rite Aid for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for everyone and was of the Church of God faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Michael Bennett and a brother, Marty McRae. Survivors include: Mother: Bertha Juanita McRae of Thomasville, Ga. Daughter: Melissa “Nicky” Tinajero and husband Armando of Axson, Ga. Sister: Nita Massey and husband Jesse of Ray City, Ga. 2 Brothers: Thomas McRae of Thomasville, Ga. Kevin McRae and wife Tracey of Bainbridge, Ga. Grandchildren: Amber Decosta and husband Jonathon Emilia Tinajero Diego Tinajero Great-Grandchild: Jasper Decosta Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Visitation and Memorial Services for Mrs. Bennett were held on Friday, May 11, 20l8 at Relihan Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 P. M. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA. was in charge of the arrangements.
